If you like Wine Country, a must read is coming Sept. 14th

Our parent site, www.symtrekpartners.comhas just posted a “People” story about Vivienne Sosnowski.  She is the author of: When The Rivers Ran Red and she lives in Sonoma County. When The Rivers Ran Red takes the reader from the first vineyards in Northern California through Prohibition.  Vivienne’s book will be out in paperback September 14th.  The book is a great mix of  stories about history, human tragedy, the heavy hand of government and ‘fun to know’ human interest facts.  There are still a lot of surviving vineyards and wineries, albeit different owners, from the  mid 1800′s through Prohibition.  Interestingly, the only legal wine that could be made during Prohibition was for religious and medicinal use.  Most people do not know that Prohibition lasted for more than a decade.

Take a read through Vivienne’s story and pick up a copy of her book, out in September 2010.
