Bottle Stoppers

Designed by the artist using Myrtlewood, this carousel has 15 individual receptacles to display all 15 stoppers from the Napa Valley AVA Commemorative series. It comes mounted on a Lazy Susan and is very appropriate to leave out on a counter to display your stopper art collection.

The design is a 6 step process just to prepare the hardwood (Cocobolo) for shaping. The circles in the piece are not painted-on or an inlay. The designs run throughout the piece and are made of solid contrasting hardwoods. The process takes 5 days to complete with a high gloss finish. Stopper hardware is food grade stainless
steel as is the silicone seals.

This piece is distinctive for its asymmetrical/eccentric layered effects. This off-set feature of Twisted Vine will provoke conversation because of the very unique twists and turns. Made of Wenge hardwood. The hardware on this stopper is make of food grade stainless steel and silicone seals.

Rosewood Burgundy Stoppers designed to be laser engraved for corporate, individual and/or special occasions such as wedding favors.  The stopper piece is made of food grade stainless steel with ‘o’ ring seals.  It is a very rich burgundy grained color.

The first thing to notice is the intricate design of these two stoppers.  One is made of Pink Ivory the other of Blackwood.  Each stopper is hand carved and takes more than 3 hours carve the detail on each type of wood.  This is high level art.  Note shown in the picture is the Blackwood piece is made with a silicone stopper, the Pink Ivory is with a stainless steel stopper.

What makes bottle stoppers so interesting lies in the quality of the craftsmanship and the unique look and feel of the woods.  Burl is a very unique wood.  In the past burl’s were used for pipes and dashboards on exotic cars.  We offer Maple Burl stoppers that are from North American sustainable trees.  Burl is a growth anomaly that is rare on maple trees.

Luxury Bamboo Coasters and Custom Cocobolo Bottle Stopper.  Premium doesn’t adequately describe these 2 items.  Hand rubbed finishes on both, quality materials used, great for gifts or corporate use, and value.  More than a 10% savings.

The come in natural and caramelized colors-all are naturall yachieved coloration.

The stopper as shown is highly grained and is also available in a lighter copper color.  It is a very dense and highly polished wood with a flat surface on top for  logo engraving.  It has a very nice feel and balance.  The stopper hardware is food grade stainless steel and will not rust or pit.  This is NOT chrome plated that will flake off.  Luxury and richness are evident.

What makes this piece intricate is an incorporation of 3 different woods-walnut, maple and Burgundy Rosewood that sit  below the crown.  This accent is 100% woods at are throughout the whole interior of the stopper-NOT painted on and NOT a thin layer of veneer for decoration.
